Collage transforms my ideas, desires, and highest intentions into the visible. I enjoy creating with recycled goods; the images in my work are from diverse sources, I collect scraps from my world: tickets from an event, pictures from food boxes, tags, wrapping paper, cards, cut-outs from catalogs, photo copied tarot cards, drawings and homework from my children. I love to add embellishments like rub-ons, glitter, stickers, hand-sculpted wire art, and washi tape. My Intuitive Art Cards and journal covers are assembled using a glue stick, on canvas and cardboard I often use Modge Podge.
On Samhain 2020 I began sharing short daily videos on the soul care strategies I use
to maintain my emotional and mental wellbeing.

During the first PTO meeting in 2019, at my youngest son's elementary school, I noticed how all the women's faces were different: different contours, different textures, different tones, but yet, we are all simultaneously, exquisitely, the same. In one of my full art journals, I began drawing women's faces and an ellis over my daily words of appreciation, morning tarot sessions, prayers, creative ideas, and constant contemplation of how to best be of Service to the World. I weathered the women's faces to represent their season, wisdom, and authenticity. Over the images I layered collaged words to caption sentiments occupying my heart.

My finished work often features MerMyths and Twishes.
When my two oldest children were in preschool we made up a story about a Twish, a bird-fish that goes on adventures in MerTerra, a land full of MerMyths.
After my two Grandmothers passed away within six months of each other, Lucy at 102 and Sip just shy of 96, I felt them guiding me. I began drawing a Twish named ellis after their first initials, L for Lucy and S for Sip.
